Sparingly Sparse-Spare Parts!

As humans... do we need spare parts?
Yes! we do.
Medical science has now ensured lots of parts are being spared and wared.

I was mulling this now morphing situation with the nascent Automobile industries' history as a simile.
100 years ago we had not many spare part shops in our cities and towns as Automobiles were a Luxury.
Today we have them as a mushroomed affect .

50 years hence, who knows we will have spare parts in plenty selling parts of the human body as well, as openly as we have automobile shops selling those automobile spare parts, as on date.

Why will this metamorphosis take a shorter time?
Why not another 100 years!
Demand and supply will command that arena...as demand would be more than supply, for sure.
When that is the case it becomes a necessity and necessity is the well known mother of inventions.

Cosmetically speaking : Yes it would be the need of the hour soon!
The use and throw life style is now a way of life.
Who has the time for repair anything slowly and completely the natural way!
Ayurveda, Yoga etc. Regular Exercises, Physical games, in the open are few laborious natural means to rejuvenate the body but they just dont jell with the current generations' life styles.
Ask them to walk or bicycle, or lift some load.
There moaning and groaning will drown the sounds of their squeaky joints if at all they do agree and attempt!

Spiritually : No! It should not happen ever.

Never will you be able to buy and replace the parts that set you apart, here.
There is a core intangible part within the human being that has parts too, but no spare parts can be ever spared for that part.
They are ingrained and grown naturally.
They are to be nurtured too, naturally.
As a natural want.

The universal core components of that core part of any human being on this earth are:

Thinking
Attitude
Faith
Love
Forgiveness
Fairness
Humbleness
Care
Values
Virtues
Honesty
Sound sleep
The challenge has always been and will be : for us to keep them well oiled, well greased, functional and operational 24*7.

As individuals.
As groups.
As societies
As nations
As a Global Village!

They are rotatables too.
They are subjected to both fair wear and tear and unfair wear and tear.
More of unfair wear and tear...these days, as a want.
Thanks to man made activities like: acute desires, materialistic life styles, and resultant stress.
In vogue popular de-stressers like smoking, drinking, drugs, Non vegetarianism etc. make matters worse.

The problem these days is more with incapability of humans in juggling of these parts naturally, and ensuring well being all the time. Procrastination and sheer laziness being two of the most notorious inherent ingrained unwanted strains.
As parasites.

Unlike the then prevalent life styles that did ensure the above were robustly maintained; say about a 100 years ago.
Slow and to glow on the go! was a way of life minus strife as is prevalent today.

As that is essentially not happening as a habit en-mass.
Therefore the demand is on the rise for those other parts that can be physically repaired and replaced.
To ensure continuation of a life full of strife.
In other words longevity.
As a modern habit...as afford-ability is also on the rise.
A pitiable situation indeed and a disturbing trend.
Existence; is stretchable.

If only we had the will to bend and mend our spiritual ways as well.
Life would be stretch too and swell!
Without the need to buy and sell spare parts...in times to come!
If only we could cull the prophetic demand by commanding ways of yesteryear, that control the intangibles.
The supply would never be a welcome!

How is courage encouraged?

Courage is neither a rage,
Nor....just another blank page!
It is a human trait found in scarce
Sparse too, in the current corporate race!

How do you gauge courage?
How do you encourage?
How do you leverage?
Why is it not found in percentages above the average?

Does it age as you age?
Till you become a noble sage?
Why is it so difficult to locate, measure and gauge?
Where does one rummage?

Isn't courageousness contagious?
Or, as a trait: it is shallow and disadvantageous?

Can it be bought for a wage?
Is it sold only on front a page?
To be bought and confined to a golden cage?
To shine up a pseudo image?
Thanks to fancy degrees and and an eight digit corporate wage!

Is it restricted to cities towns?
Isn't it worn and with smiles and not frowns?
Is it more of moral?
Or, is it just floral?
To seek a brownie point as a Laurel!

Isn't it an inner strength bread as a bold image?
Not found anywhere: in loud cities, towns and the silent village?
In short supply, thanks to prevalent greed and desire,
That have ever since become the ire.
Its' lack; now a days, leading to only moral pillage!

How is courage duplicated, replicated and implicated?
Is it mentored and created?
Or, is it by example dissipated?
By observation...emulated?

It surely is a worthy...mirth!
For all its noble worth.
Is it a trait in-born by birth?
Does it increase with your waists' girth?

When and wherever it is lacking..
Is it worth stacking?
Or, is it to be imbibed by kicking and whacking?

While imbibing if one is cracking...
Does it help...by raving and mocking?

With mock... does it rock?
To set in steady and firm...like a rock?
Or, it lands one in the dock?

How do you take stock?
With fights? As a Cock?
Or, with jaws in an silent interlock!
On the run... and as you walk?

Is it a trait displayed with gait,
Upright and straight?
With or without heavy weight?
Or, by casual-tardiness as seen in corporates: of late!

Does courage walk the talk?
Or just talk the talk...and bark!
To be baulked and to baulk, as an indolent habit...
To hunt with the horses and run with the rabbit!
As a compounded,confounded, nasty immoral,habit!

Do you pretend or do you attend?

" Thank you very much! Will attend to it shortly ".

Those powerful, committed words, they got me thinking.
Leaving me delightfully, blinking.
My own thoughts they got to linking,
Raising my spirits and stopping the sinking.
Spurring me to pen this ode,
Within the confines of my distant abode,
As an on the spot! writing, a kind of a loving code,
I am today,in the now, for posterity...inking.

As, the originator of them words, never pretends.
Always attends.
With deserving grace, pace and above all: a rare promptitude.
Both in noisy environs and in solitude.
As an ingrained attitude.
To me, and to the multitude.

As I thought I refused to be bought,
That all of us are also so tight and timely taut,
Though we are and were too, taught,
We allowed that trait to kind of rot,
As we lived our lives, selfishly, all the while, on the trot.

I thought through and questioned,
Are such traits self-controlled or are they, destined.

Questioningly I probed:

How many of us attend to our tasks and chores with promptitude?
As an attitude.

How many of us walk that extra miles to do so, for others?
For ourselves and for the multitude.

How many of us keep others' interests over our own?
Both in noisy environs and in solitude.

How many of us habitually, subscribe to the popular slogan " Just do it."
With deserving grace, pace and above all: a rare promptitude.

Do it! now!
And beat it.
Be done with it.

How?

By following the heart and not the herd of thoughts, within us.
By prioritizing and planning these very thoughts, to begin with.
By seeking and peeking into our own conscience and respecting time.
Our own, and others' as well.
All the while.

By not procrastinating as a habit.
By not being the tortoise here, but by being the rabbit.

As tomorrow never comes.
It is the 'now' that always beckons and welcomes.
In order to make others' life, akin to heaven.
Our own too, peaceful and purposefully, driven.
As caring humans, to habitually do so, we need to be attentive: 24*7.

Attentive to:

Time; to ensure we reduce the grind, mind the mind and flawlessly;sail.
Detail; to ensure that our efforts seldom fail.
Colour; to present the outcome always bright, and seldom pale.
Cause; to ensure we serve both; the sardines and the whale.
Care;to ensure fair wear and tear and not to ever, ensnare!

With a deep sense of commitment.
To sustain and spread: excitement.
To ring in enlightenment.
To avoid omittment.
To release pressure and stress.
And not to impress.

To spread love.
Through the pristine wings of the iconic; dove.
To expand peace.
To help release.
Thoughts...those that originate from yet another heart.
Located miles and miles apart.

Only through this rare trait and art of tending and attending.
And never pretending.
Only by inculcating and extending, devout: Attention.
Without any bias, prejudicial leanings, and apprehension.

Follow what ? Heart or Herd

All said and done, as we tread and trudge on, on the path of life, we need to follow too.

Follow :

Training, Rituals, Rights, Maps, Diagrams, Advice, Instructions, Trends, Rules, Policies, Procedures, Instincts, Music, and now also, one of the very latest of them all... trends, twitter, etc.

As we learn to follow, we need to learn to adhere to some/all of them as well.
To lead.
And not to bleed.
Thanks to relentless; greed.

To fulfill needs.
And not to fulfill greed.

To stand out as an outstanding Human Being.
And not to standout as a standout.

Since birth, through childhood, and until we grow up, we follow and learn basics, till we learn them well, and kind of master them.
Till we "stand up on our own feet" so to speak.
Thereafter; we decide to be choosy and selective as such, on our ' following instincts '.

To Follow :
Intelligently, Instinctively, Diligently or Blatantly! is now left to us.

Our choices and not our chances pave our way.
It is either us, only me, them, or they.
As we make our life like; hay.
To our delight! or much to our dismay.
Day after day.
Till we get to get gray!
In our relentless pursuit.
To follow and be followed, to be; hallowed.

It's now, when...we look back and introspect.
We do mull and we also inspect.
And discover a rather hollow hallow
In us, as a fellow, who did follow
As we swum and as we now; wallow.
In life's depths, both deep and in shallow.

As we prospered and prospected, all the while,
Through rare honest effort, or by common, deceit and guile,
We get to wonder and ponder:
Were it the choices or the chances, that made or marred our ways
Our progress, through past days.

As a nerd, was it worth it? to be a part of a herd?
A question we seldom asked then,
To be heard,
By the herd.

As a geek, why did we not tweak? to shine, outshine and standout!
When we had both the wherewithal and the clout?
To flout!
While we were nerdy within the herd.
As we so chose to be,unheard.

Did we often... squeak, or shout? to Tweak.
As a bold soul and not a meek.
To stand apart,
By following our own... heart.

Tweak:
To live a life full of beans rather than an existing a life, like a dreary death.
To lead and not to plead, bleed in and as a part of; a herd.
And not to have grown into a dweeb.
Like the proverbial sheep... of Little Bo Beep.

Follow the heart!
We must.
Trust the heart.
We must.
Take care of the heart.
We must.
Stand apart.
We must. We would. We will.

As Life:
All of it, happens out of the heart and only because of the sturdy heart.

Life begins with the first heart beat.
Life ends with the last heart beat.

Therefore:
Choose the right path...follow the heart, always.
As you live: in a herd/alone, as a nerd... growing into a dweeb, as a smarty, as a pleader, or...as a leader.

You see, Life is always lived out of choices and not chances.
Choices made after hearing the inner voices...made by the heart.

Firstly:
Do you have a heart to do so?
To stand apart?
To live long and to be belonged and longed for?
To be loved,kissed and missed?
To be bliss and blessed?

If you have one...Follow that heart please.
As it is given to you on lease.

Follow it always.
Listen to the inner voices it makes, and follow them blindly.
Make the right choices.
You will live life...so kindly.

Do get to get past and pass these three gates before you get to speak!

Have you ever been left speechless?
By somebodies' words?

Have you ever taken the speech away from somebody?
Through the power of your own words?

Have you been dumbfounded at any time and have you made people dumbfounded too?

Well! we all have experienced that/those feeling(s) sometime or the other, in our lives.
What do we do when we lived through that/them?

Nothing!
As always.

Would you like to act now?
It is never too late to improve and replicate.

It's also always better to be late, than never.
So let us do just that.

Here are few pearls of wisdom that will help you kick off.

Fours things that cannot be recovered are:

* A stone... after the throw.
* An occasion... after it is gone.
* The time...after it is spent
* The word...after it is said.

To add value to the last one as recorded above, let us also dip into some simple but so true... Sufi wisdom.

It says:

Whatever you wish to speak to anybody... let it pass through three gates:
-

* The Gatekeeper at the first gate asks:-

Is it true?

* The Gatekeeper at the second gate asks:-

Is it necessary?

* The Gatekeeper at the third gate asks:-

Is it kind?

If what you wish to say to anybody, can pass through these three gates then... Say it!

Say it with zeal and a lovely smile.
All the while.
To please and to appease with ease.
To enrapture and not to rupture feelings.
As feelings are all that we have within us and they get stirred/mired through words.

Otherwise, it is better to keep silent.

As: Speech indeed is silver and silence golden.

It's only words... words are all that I have...Remember that melodious song?

Mankind: As Gardeners And As Entrepreneurs

When we think and talk about gardening, gardens and gardeners, we should begin with the very first one.
The almighty!
As it was he who built that first garden; Eden.
On this, his Earth.
He made that for us, as well.
To dwell as in heaven, and not as in hell.
To emerge as successful entrepreneurs, too.
As the Almighty went ahead as an entrepreneur to begin with, to create that very Eden so as to spark within us and our intellects:

* Intelligence.
* Diligence
* Indulgence
* Negligence
* Indolence
* Tolerance

....and grow up as entrepreneurs as well, in times to come.

Eden was and is an example he set for us to enjoy and to emulate, as Life .
To: See, feel, sense, smell, jell, dwell, live, grow, pluck, share, care, cut, trim, hate, endure, propagate, replicate, and to fruition:
Love.
Life, Death and Decay.
To live, eat, grow and to die for and out off, the fruition that happens in there, by default, as well.
Annually, Bi-annually, Perennially too!
As that is what Life is all about!
A not so, viscous-a-circle, if one emulates successfully, like successful entrepreneurs do, all the time , and have done so too, ever since!

How?

By seeing, observing, learning, and then finally duplicating and replicating Almighty's effort.
Thereby emerging as skillful entrepreneurs.
Through use of in-built inherent intelligence that loves soil, sweat, strife, toil, and competition.
Don't we see natures produce competing with one another all the time?
In various shapes and sizes and all kinds of hues of beautiful colors?
To attract, distract, to trap and be entrapped as well, to culminate in Fruition!
Splendidly to blend.
Thus emerging as: Observant gardeners first, and then as, successful entrepreneurs, next.

Life as such was built into that very garden.
Life happened out of that garden and other gardens too subsequently, that were later built, by men/women as such, as entrepreneurs morphed out of that example, well emulated down the ages.

For no wages to begin with.
Then for wages as well.
Entrepreneurship had morphed into that waging, raging, era... bye the bye.
Down the ages we have seen many a gardens happen and decay and die.
Like so, in these past few centuries, we have also seen many an entrepreneurs happen and then die, as well.
Very few have left a permanent mark on this earth, that we may so classify, as seen as hind-site, as of now.

Life happens in and out of gardens even today.
Unfortunately those types of splendid gardens are so few and far flung.

Both sung and un-sung!
Like successful entrepreneurs are!

That life that was then lived as life lived, lives on... was loved, and still loves; gardens.

Gardens nurture, strife and are rife with: life, which is invariably followed by death! time and again.
Within them.
As a wonderful meaningful learning experience.
As growth.
To recall, regain and sustain Life.
Life in there is: so dependent on seasons as such.
As the very reasons.
To live for.

Gardens are planned, sown, cloned and grown.
They are tilled and willed.
Roots, leaves, stems, limbs and flowers are groomed, treasured, measured and at times discarded and thrown, too.
So that fruition happens as it should.
Naturally.
In the bargain endure thorns and the pain they bring when pricked by them.
So that flowers convert to fruits and resultant mellow sweetness... in the end.
As they get consumed.

Post consumption discarding of stones alias seeds happens naturally too.
So that propagation endures itself.
Just like talent does, too.

Through continuous propagation fruition continues to happen.
On time, in paucity or may be in plenty!
As nature is so mature that it can seldom be harnessed and nurtured as per human will.
Despite the best of toil, till and fill.

Fruition happens naturally: Depending on the degree of nurture, care, share, fair-unfair wear and tear, it is subjected to; by the caring - uncaring... gardener(s)!
Alas! if we only we had those caring and devout types of gardeners by the dozens!
We would also have had plenty of entrepreneurs bearing the right fruition too.
As behind every successful businessman; one that we get to see and live with, there are hundred or more unsuccessful ones, we don't get to see and live with, too.

Fruition happens all the time, but it solidly depends on:

* The soil selected and tilled.
* The beds that are made and how they get to get made.
* The type of seeds selected and then sown.
* Seeds: When and how they get sown
* Seeds: The zone they are selected to be sown in.
* Seeds: The season and the reason behind there sowing.

When one gets to observe and then compare these acts, one sees a remarkable similarity within a successful gardeners and talented entrepreneurs.

Here are a few of the glaring but all baring, daring commonalities...not so ensnaring ones' though.

* Both of them need to be acutely observant, committed for a life full of strife.
* Both of them need to be devoted with a love for labour and toil.
* Both of them need to be gentle and harsh(Should know how to axe when called for)
* Both of them need to be good planners.
* Both of them need of be good selectors.(Business is all about Location,Location,Location)
* Both of them need to be learners on the run.
* Both of them need of them to be depended on nature.
* Both of them need to master perseverance.
* Both of them need to learn from mistakes and not repeat it ever, if not often.
* Both of them need to learn to be dependent, finally.(Business is all about People)
* Both of them need to know how save for a rainy day and also for dry spells.
* Both of them need to have an eye for details.
* Both of them need to know how to weed out and well in time.
* Both of them need to live, groom and bloom flowers and fruits among thorns.
* Both of them need to know how to package the produce to reduce decay.
* Both of them need to know how to learn, unlearn and re-learn.
* Both of them need to just-fully share the harvest and the produce.
* Both of them need to realize the importance of organic growth.
* Both of them need to know that money is like manure( In a mound it decays stenches and stinks, when spread and sown in fields it yields riches!)

Are you a potential entrepreneur?
Why don't you let go of your gardening instincts at the same time while you are at it?
So that you learn and mature early, as an entrepreneur par excellence!

Were you a successful entrepreneur?
I am sure you were one, and are now, a successful gardener once again, now that you have hung your gloves, as an entrepreneur, and are back on your knees: digging, sowing, weeding, growing: Life.
After all that strife as a successful entrepreneur.

Entrepreneurialy speaking: Good that you are at it, Now!
As: As on date, our Earth needs more gardeners like you, and in large strengths and force too.

* Thanks to the man-made: Global warming.
* Thanks to extreme axing...of over the years.

Come let us save our Eden, alias Earth, as entrepreneurs!
As we are not God.

We are observant emulators.
We are that! and we should emulate and replicate goodness, as we are very good emulators of both good and the evil.

Lets emulate the good and be good gardeners to begin with!
Before it gets:Too Late.

If we do not! we are bound to collectively decay and finally obliterate.
Sooner than later.

Entrepreneurship of the eternal kind will happen...naturally! only then.

Its only words...words are all I have...

Here is a story that I wish to share with readers and add on to the tickle quotient.
It has a wonderful message for one and all, to imbibe in their lives.

-- A group of frogs were traveling as they were busy migrating across the country. Hopping and jumping they were traversing across merrily till they reached a jungle. As it was a thick jungle it got dark within its confines. With limited visibility on hand and despite the best of caution; inline with the proverb " Look before you Leap" as they lept on they chanced upon some pitfall area. While they were negotiating it as luck would have it two of the frogs felt into a rather deep pit.

When the other frogs looked into that pit and gauged it as a rather deep one, they informed the two stuck in deep that they were as good as dead.

The two frogs deep inside the pit decided to ignore that comment and advise.
They tried and attempted to jump out of that pit with all their might.

While they were doing that the other frogs from out side the pit kept telling the two that their was no point in that attempt as it was a forgone conclusion that they would ultimately die...as the pit was out of the possible scaling limit of the frogs.

One of the frogs caught within, while attempting to jump out, began to pay heed to these comments while jumping.
As a result, his efforts began to dwindle and he began to tire out as well rather quickly.
He exhausted extensively, with every attempt that he made, and in due course fell dead too.

The other frog, on the other hand, continued to jump with the same zeal and, with every attempt that he made, he would gain a few more inches as compared to that last one.
He continued to jump and persevered in the the true spirit of the proverb " Try and try till you succeed".

The crowd or frogs on seeing the other one dead, did not stop in dissuading this one as well as they continued to literally " breathe and yell down his neck " beseeching him to give up else he would drop dead too!
They were croaky all the time, advising him to not go through the painful experience of painful attempts.
They wanted him to lay back and die in peace instead.

The Frog did not bother to pay heed to them at all, and he continued and tried and tried till he finally did jump out of that pit!

When he was out of the pit all the frogs accosted him and inquired from him why he did not pay heed to their croaky and well throat-ed advise?
"Did you not hear us" They exclaimed.
There was no immediate response from the exhausted frog.
After a few more deliberate and well focused attempts, the group of frogs discovered that they were croaking to a partially deaf frog!

When the frog finally understood what they were asking of him he responded and told them that he continued to jump as he thought the others were encouraging him to do better with every jump!
He did that precisely.
And here he was outside the pit.
Mission Impossible accomplished!
Thanks to that croaky encouragement by the entire group!

Readers:

The story as such teaches us a few well meaning lessons:

1) We should strive to attempt and fail rather than fail to attempt as life is full of pitfalls.

2) Our power of speech both as individual and as a collective team, has the power of life and death in it. It encourages all the time when used properly and well in time. An encouraging word or two to anyone that we know who is down and low, can help lift his/her spirits and make him/her move on.

3) A destructive word or piece of advice to someone and/or any one who is: "Down in the dumps" can be what it takes to kill them rather than will/fill them with much needed hope and encouragement.

4) We must listen to one and all if need be; but we must do what we feel needs to be done, vis a vis the situation, on hand.

5) You/we must open y/our mind(s) before you/we open y/our mouth(s).

If we have to speak we must speak carefully all the time. Our speech should always speak life and positiveness to one and all that we cross path with. We should desist and refrain from speaking about death and negativity as such!

The power of words is awesome.
At times it gets hard for us to understand that: encouraging word(s) well meant as it/they may be could end in disastrous result(s) as well, inadvertently!

Words...They do go a long long way!

It is very easy for any one to speak words that tend to and result in robbing the other of the spirit of striving and continuing to live/love and strive for life, to the hilt in the most difficult times and circumstances.

Individuals; Those who take time and put in conscious effort(s) to encourage others in times of need are indeed very special.Friends.
Friends: in need and in deed too!

As:

" Its only words...words are all I have" is also a well sung song that also indicates in the same direction, so melodiously!
So aptly.
