Visual Intelligence is everything!

One of the very interesting-cum-very-educative/learning kind of an experience, that has emerged, out of the recently concluded inaugural ceremony of the current US president, is; the arrival of technology that made it possible for the latest cameras to, not only pan the whole crowd that had assembled out there on that cold January morning, but also, to effectively be able to capture every face, clearly, in the narrowest dimensions possible.

Captured for quick recall in case of a mishap!
With complete details displayed, when zoomed in.
Thanks to what is now known as: Visual Digital Intelligence.

VDI: Compact in size, but large in act!
That's what visual intelligence has come to, as on date.
Technology today, is all about visual data capturing, for analysis, for better forecasting, diagnostics, measuring, moving, shaping, aping, draping, etc.
Visual Digital Data.
VDD.

Medicine; just half a century ago, doctors would rely more on their individual experience and exposure to come to a decisive conclusion and diagnose a particular disease.
It was more with the stethoscope and the individuals pulse, and less with clinical findings.
It's all history now, and most, if not all of the diagnostics today, is based on hi-tech clinical findings.
All of it is data based. Yes! it is all VDD and also ADD (Audible Digital Data)

Aviation; just a few decades ago was more about, "seat of the pant feeling" and less of what it is now: glass cockpits, full of computer generated data based decisions.
No wonder then, it is now one of the safest means of transport ever invented by mankind!
And at break neck speeds too.

Once again made possible, thanks to Visual Intelligence.
A wonderful combination of VDD/ADD resulting in VDI !

Come to think of it, all living creatures on this earth, are dependently; visually driven.
We as mankind, are the most dependent, as telling doesn’t work on us as well as seeing does.
Reading makes some sense, but not complete, as recall is laborious.
Writing did/does too, but, it has now been replaced by 'keying in' and the 'click of the mouse', so: its almost visual, contextually speaking.
As fonts can be shaped and coloured at will!

See that?
Visual Intelligence emerging; as a force?

Seeing is believing isn't it?.

We comprehend best when we SEE things as they are or as they are shown to us.
Once we see emerging patterns, we finally recognize them as, behaviors.
Behavioral study in depth, leads to proper comprehension and comprehension is all about human intelligence!

Visual comprehension leads to more clarity, and with crystal clear clarity, we are able to develop effective foresight, as well.

Foresight is like fore arming yourself, as " fore-warned is fore-armed."
That's predictability.
Sound effective predictability, based on, visual data based intelligence!

The rapid strides made, in this past two decades, by the convergence of technologies, have indeed coerced us now to fall back on our first learnings as children.
Remember your kindergarten days!
We first learnt to "read pictures" and then we tackled the alphabets, followed by the numerals!
Our visual intelligence was first developed even as toddlers, at school!
As toddlers we loved to paint first, draw, and scroll on the wall! and hated the alphabet, grammar, not to talk about mathematics, as it was comparatively, very un-natural for us to comprehend!
We learnt well to draw to recall and represent with ease.
We advanced too, rapidly,in the world of Visual Intelligence.
Then and there after too till a certain age and era!
Our decision taking ability got developed, gradually, with its foundation deeply laid in Visual Intelligence!
Our analytical skills too.

Then they kind of went dormant!
Till technology paced ahead and reached us where we are.
Today.
Dependency today, on VDD and VDI, is on the increase, exponentially.
There fore, it is very important for all of us to learn and familiarize, with as many VDD/VDI supporting tools and programmes that we can, as we got to, get to grow, both: in personal life and in business/profession(s), as well.

'Any thing that moves can be measured' and digitally captured, cost wise; be made affordable too, thanks to the easy availability of affordable software and hardware that is also; very portable!

With all this on hand...
Where will your visual intelligence come from/get developed, in the parallel lanes?
At the same pace?
How will you cope up with the emerging pace of development and not be redundant all the time?
Come it has to, from within you as: Visual Intelligence was your fore-most natural reflective sense that was first developed as a child, but was subsequently put on the back burner, till now!

How do you make/hone visual intelligence, happen?

Simple.

By learning and familiarizing ourselves with all the tools that we get to use daily, in their complete dexterity.
As a small beginning.
Use then in their entire completeness, as originally designed, and not as cursory necessities.

As an example, let us take the Microsoft Excel.

How many of us use multi-coloured fonts and figures for the simplest of our presentations through data capturing and recalling for analysis etc?
How many of us use pie-charts as a habit?
Very few of us do that!
We seldom change the font size/shape to emphasize a point!
That is the point, we need to get involved totally and utilize the tools that are available at the basic levels, as it is, to garner/capture/hone visual intelligence on the run!.
In case we don't! soon, we would be found wanting in exercising our visual intelligence as effectively as we should be.
Our own capabilities would be dwarfed by those of the emerging Geeks.

As:

Visual analytics will drive the current century which would soon be stepping into the world of robotics as the next generation of expertise driven perfectionist type of world, in all fields like: rapid transportation, medicine, bio technology, creativity, day to day business decisions, financial workings, economic trends, public safety/health, and political expertise:Gallup like surveys.

Predictions would be easily possible, based on the information and data needed to truly build a level of predictive presentation, that would give us a fairly good chance to fore-see the future, whether it would be related to global warning, the saving of an endangered specimen,
or, the currently on hand, dreaded by Taliban:
'Remote controlled drone strikes' to over come, the worst of the terrorism, now plaguing the earth!

Visual Intelligence is indeed everything!

Time for us to recall and re-install our basic kindergarten learnings!
Time for us to be vigilant and up beat in developing, our own Visual Intelligence, on the trot!
By capturing/presenting/recalling data, as visually as we possibly can.
As a habit.

Since; pictures speak the loudest!
They out sell too...as: what is seen gets/is sold!
What is not, is left to wrought, out there in the cold.
